A teacher today is a facilitator. He should guide rather than teach, facilitate rather than preach. The school is the place where a child develops the positive mindset, confidence, grit and drive to push his aspirations towards their ultimate goal.

We, in Summerfield, believe that marks and results begot through cramming and rote learning are not the sole indicators of a person’s success as a professional in later life. Rather it is the confidence and will of the person that matters in the long run. We encourage our students to learn at their own pace. We know that each individual has diverse talents and capabilities, be it in sports, artistic, aesthetic, cultural or literary activity. It is these talents that we encourage alongside. This instills a sense of achievement and confidence in the student and helps him to absorb the stress of academics.
